Nathaniel Lease is currently an Adjunct Instructor of Music at Hagerstown Community College and the Principal Trombonist of the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his duties at Hagerstown Community College, Nate is a Brass Instructor of Brass for the Cumberland Valley School of Music, Sloan School of Music and Shepherd University Community Music School. He has had the pleasure of performing regularly with multiple groups in the tristate area, including the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra, Symphony of the Potomac, Mid Atlantic Symphony Orchestra and Ray Birely Jazz Orchestra.
Nate is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree at Shenandoah Conservatory. He received his Master of Music Degree in Trombone Performance from the University of Delaware and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His primary teachers include Dr. Matthew Niess, Dr. Jeff Cortazzo, Dr. Bruce Tychinski, Dr. Christian Dickinson, Mr. Justin Moore, and Mr. Noel Kunkle.
