Since I began taking piano lessons when I was five years old, my love for music and playing has become one of the most important elements of my life. Because I was born in Portugal, but lived most of my life in Washington County, Maryland, I’ve been exposed to many genres of music.
I grew up in church, which gave me the opportunity to have been involved in music for most of my life, and now am the Music Director. I’ve been a full-time national touring musician for over seven years as the lead guitarist with various bands: Aneirin, I The Breather, and Twin Radio.
Over ten years, I have been sharing my passion and love of music by teaching piano and guitar. In doing so I have grown a deep joy and have found the most fulfillment in watching my students connect with music, and have the “click” moment.
