Michael J. Nealon Jr. has over 30 years teaching experience with violin, viola, and cello, and works with students ages 5 to adult. After earning a BA in Music Performance with a concentration in Music Education from Towson University, Michael also studied at the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Preparatory and has a combined almost thirty years as a private lesson student. He also brings over a dozen years of orchestra experience to his lesson studio, where lesson time is always catered to the needs of each individual student. He schedules live performances and recitals annually for students and families, and teaches traditional and classical styles of music. As an instructor, Michael stresses foundations in good technique and reading while maintaining a positive and fun learning environment.
